Every child has the right to feel and be safe.

Melbourne Wolves is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for children and young people. We follow Basketball Victoria's child-safeguarding policies and standards.

Report a concern

IMMEDIATE DANGER

If a child is in immediate danger, call 000.

You do not need proof before raising a concern.

Concerns will be taken seriously and handled as promptly and confidentially as possible.

What happens when you report a concern?

Melbourne Wolves will:

Take your concern seriously and prioritise the safety of the child.

Record and manage the information carefully, and contact the appropriate organisation or authority when required.

Explain the next steps where possible.

You do not need to investigate the matter or provide proof before reporting a concern.

Photography and filming

Parents and family members may photograph or film games, subject to venue and competition rules.

Please:

  • Focus on your child or team.
  • Respect requests not to photograph or share an identifiable child.
  • Never photograph or film in change rooms, bathrooms or private areas.
  • Do not share personal details or location information.
  • Only share images that are respectful and appropriate.

Some games may also be recorded by the competition or broadcaster.

Concerns about images

For an image published by Melbourne Wolves, email Melbourne Wolves and identify the image you would like reviewed or removed.
