Melbourne Wolves Elite
Melbourne Wolves Elite is an open age men’s team that competes in D grade on Monday nights at Southern Basketball Association. Currently the Elite team has 9 players.
2024 Winter Season News
Opening Game 1st July
Melbourne Wolves Elite will be the first wolves pack coming out to play this season. Their first game is against OMBC Panthers, on 1 July 2024 at 9:30pm on Court 6.
Matt Burgin wears #23 and plays as a power forward/small forward. Prior to joining Melbourne Wolves, Matt played as a member of the Sandringham Sabres in NBL1. At 6'3 (190cm), Matt is an amazing dribbler and a threat from the 3-point line.
Michael Yang wears #8 and plays as a shooting guard/point guard. Prior to founding the Melbourne Wolves, Michael was a member of the OMBC Classics (now Melbourne Wolves Classics), specialising in midrange jump shots and pull-up jump shots.
Tim Lyons wears #7 and plays as a small forward/power forward. At 6'3 (190cm), Tim is specialised in jump shots and defensive rebounds. Prior to co-founding the Melbourne Wolves, Tim was a member of the OMBC Classics.
